About Us

Synergy In Action was birthed in 1995 by Alfred and Anna Murillo.  Alfred and Anna first operated a sidewalk Sunday School children’s ministry by buying and renovating a large truck with a fold-down platform. On a weekly basis they would go to Salt Lakes most neediest neighborhoods to bring a fun, positive message and a hot meal to hundreds of kids around the metro area. Since then, they have grown in a network of outreaches throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

Locally, Synergy In Action Network is  working hard to address the growing need in the Utah Metro  area by adding a variety of services that help challenged neighborhoods transform into a thriving communities. 

Jesus Christ’s transforming power compels us to emphasize compassion, hope and restoration in each of our programs.  From feeding 10,000 families a month with food boxes to making sure that over 1000 underprivileged kids have a back pack full of school supplies ready to start the new school year for the past 20 years. 

The ultimate vision is to develop community centers that will holistically provide physical, educational and Christian programing to strategic neighborhoods throughout the state of Utah.  We are confident that with a growing partnership with network ministries and resources we can not only change lives but we can change the destinies of families that need a little help from a neighbor that can lend a hand.
